Ms. Ataie is dedicated to her clients as they come first and represents them with integrity, advocacy, and understanding. She is an accomplished attorney with over two decades of experience overseeing civil litigation matters related to securities disputes, litigating against large broker-dealers with trillion-dollar assets, and obtaining favorable awards and resolutions for investors.
Ms. Ataie also represents registered representatives in FINRA arbitration disputes, claims for wrongful termination, promissory note disputes, Form U5 defamation, and expungement of customer complaints, terminations, and criminal convictions.
She has substantial experience representing registered representatives in FINRA regulatory inquiries and disciplinary proceedings. She has been responsible for securing a 99% success rate in closing investigations of nationally registered representatives by FINRA, SEC, and other governing bodies, for alleged violations of regulatory rules. She successfully facilitates conflict resolution of complicated legal matters through favorable settlement negotiations and mediation.
Before devoting her practice solely to securities litigation, she acquired extensive litigation experience as a member of the California Attorney General’s office in both the Correctional Law Department and Appellate Division, in addition to the San Diego District Attorney’s office.
